My question was, can I do it with ONE earth leakage switch, you have TWO, grid and inverter

That sounds promising On mine Eskom runs to a 3-way switch, I-off-II, on second DB, Eskom is I and Inverter is II I have an isolator for inverter input and an isolator for inverter output Inverter output goes to EL on main DB, plugs and geyser and no EL on lights You are saying I can connect geyser and inverter AFTER the EL on main board and feed EL power to inverter and back for the plugs and lights Are your lights on earth-leakage then too

I connected my whole house to run through my 5Kva Axpert inverter, now I want to take geyser and oven off Oven is easy, no EL required, is there anyway around NOT installing a separate EL for the geyser? Morning, I am a pensioner living in Betty's Bay Western Cape Two years ago I installed an Axpert 5Kw inverter, 3 Canadian 330W panels, combiner box, 4 x 12V 260Ah SonX RA12-260D batteries and all the requires cross over switches myself. The system worked fine, the only complaint I have is the beeping at sundown and sunset when it switches solar on and off, If I switch off then I can't hear problem beeps. I live alone and I wanted lights, TV and coffee machine to work. We often have power failures, so I wired the whole house through the inverter, if I happen to have something in the oven I can finish cooking. I doubt I ever used more than 30% I have just sold my house and need to start again, this time excluding geyser and oven. I am on UPS setting, maybe the dip was below 170v, it takes a fraction of a second to switch over then a a few seconds to switch back

Morning If utility voltage is supposed to be 230v, at what voltage will the inverter switch to batteries? My Axpert 5kva, 4 x 260ah batteries, often goes click, click and I hear the fan starting up, but, by the time I get to the DB it has stopped I just happened now, when I was closeby and the utility was on 198v, fan going, jumped to 218v and click, click, fan goes off Tried to Google a couple of phrases but found nothing Thanks William

Why have two identical settings, what am I not seeing? I just connected 3 x 330w panels, I have 4 x 260ah batteries I tried to find a setting where I could draw from panels first, then Eskom, then batteries, not use batteries at all, could not find one If I change program 12 to conserve batteries and use PV in daytime, will the inverter shut off during loadshedding? Will I have to change the setting every time the power goes off? Programs 12 and 13 are on default, what are the best settings to use for load shedding? To conserve batteries and to be able to at least use microwave and induction hob for emergencies, mostly use gas braai daily When ESKOM is off, I do not use oven or geyser and limit any high use items like kettle or hob, just use the minimum, TV, lights, fridge and freezer PS we are often without power, with ESKOM equipment failing, 24hrs off is NOT uncommon in Betty's Bay Thanks for your help William
