Hi Guys, I know this thread is a few months old but I though I will share my experience with the LifeTide 5Kwh battery . The online buying process was fair . The battery was delivered to Durban in 3 days. The battery is shipped with 4 comms cables, 2 with labels "Deye" and "Lux" . I connected mine to a growatt so had to trial and error the comms cable "Deye" cable worked. the other 2 cables no labels. No positive and negative terminal bolts supplied . You have to source your own. They do ship 2 35mm 20cm leads. Don't waste your time calling there support line, nobody answers the call just drops . Documentation is useless , they just refer to there BMS. My issue was the comm cable connected to the growatt on RS485 didn't work. I eventually tried the CAN port and that worked. Build quality : I opened the cover and its very well put together. I have tested a few batteries this is value for money at the current price of R19 999.00 incl VAT. Regards
