  2. Hi guys, I would like to know what version of s/w is on your Seplos V2 E10 BMS's you bought from Apexium? Mine is on V16.6. I bought a ready build battery 280A from them (DIY boxes were out of stock so ended up with a complete battery) and are having some challenges. Very often (not always) when load shedding start my Victron inverter will complain about a low battery alarm and "trip" but recover a few seconds later. I have changed the low DC cutoff on the inverter as low as 42V, increased the Discharge warning, protection and transient protection current parameters on the BMS to higher values to no avail. At the moment when this happen, there are no alarms or other events on the BMS, either in real time or in the data records, the cell and pack voltages does not change or even dip, but on the DC output (DC bus) reported by both the inverter and a Multimeter set to "min hold" the DC voltage drop (as low as 28V) is clearly visible. To me this seems to suggest a drop in current or an inability for current to flow on the terminal side of the battery/BMS. The BMS is usually "standby" mode when this happens - ie at 4am when the battery is neither charging nor discharging and the inverter is in passthru. Never had this with my older Lithium pack at less capacity. I suspect this is a BMS problem, either not reacting quickly enough to the mode change from standby to discharge or some other hw or sw issue that prevents current to flow. I am in touch with Apexium tech support and they are responsive. ****Update**** I possibly found the issue I have been experiencing with this battery for some time now. Note. This was a factory assembled battery and not assembled by me. It could be one of two issues or both contributing to the same. (1) The busbar connecting the two positive terminals were incorrectly installed by the factory such that all the current passed through a stainless steel nut. The correct correct installation is for the flex copper connector to attach to the flat surface of said busbar with the stainless steel nut on the back. In my case it seems this welded nut was used as a spacer. One can see the flex connector to the fuse was heating up as a result of the resistance this stainless steel nut introduced - notice the discolored label. BTW the video on the website shows the correct assembly. To fix simply turn the busbar around so the nut is on the rear. (2) my positive connector burnt and had to be replaced. This could be either be as a result of insufficient contact between the plug and the socket or heat transferred from the (1) above problem. Never the less those connectors used in this box does not inspire a lot of confidence and I replaced with screw down lug type terminals which can be properly torqued. I post this here incase someone else with a pre-assembled battery run into the same issue. I suggest checking your battery. There is a post on another forum with a similar problem so definitely not an isolated issue.
