  1. They are completely different spec, 340W Poly Canadians vs. 540 W JA MONO PERC's. I will add another 540W to string 2 and see what it does, the plan was to expand on it anyways, now's the time it seems. Hopefully the extra panel's volts it will stabilize the string. I will update when it is done. Thanks for the help
  2. It makes sense wat you saying, see string voltages
  3. As per my understanding, Startup Voltage is irrelevant if the Inverter has batteries connected. Maybe someone else can confirm or explain? Looking at the same datasheet you attached, Sunsynk also show MPPT range as between 125-425V. Also, wouldn't the current "as per graph" go to 0A thus switching completely off if undervoltaged?
  4. String 1 has 4x 340w, voltage is pritty similar with the 4 panels on string 1 as with the 3x 540w on string 2. Cannot see how this can be the problem as it worked fine. You can see on the graphs for string 2 the power output is way lower than that of string 1 and the current fluctuates constantly. Maybe saying drops in and out as original post is a bit confusing
  5. Hi, I've started a second string on my inverter roughly a month ago, it was performing well until a week or so ago. It is not producing as supposed, it drops in output during the peak time. Current fluctuates constantly. Inverter: Sunsynk 5kw String 2: 3x 540W JA Solar Mono PERC Panels are clean, get 0% Shading What could be the cause? Thanks
  6. Hi, I see that Thesunpays sell 480w Mono panels for what seems to be a good price, however Im not that familiar with the brand. Pros and Cons?
  7. Still for sale if anyone is interested
  8. Item Wanted:>= 330w Solar Panels Packaging Essential: No Desired Age: Any Location: Centurion Willing to accept a shipped item: Yes Ballpark/Budget Amount: Fair Price
  9. Why should I disable the tick? Manual says toe tick? Any specific reason?
  10. Isnt the adress settings there for RS485 connection and can doesnt really care?
  11. Hi, Can someone please assist with the correct settings for 2x Pylontech US3000C bat with Sunsynk Inverter. Should it show both batteries details on the inverter or only the one as on the foto? Thanks for helping

  13. Hi, I bought an Sunsynk Hybrid inverter and are currently passing ideas for integrating it with my house supply, Planning to split my Main DB into Essential and Non-Essential and to add a Inverter AC DB nect to the inverter with the MCB's, E/L and Bypass switch etc. Would someone please have a look at my proposed schematic and advice if I possibly have a problem. Thankswrong
  14. Hi, I'm selling my Hoymiles System (reason:installing an Hybrid with batteries). Included: 1x Hoymiles Data Transmission Unit Zero Export - FBIADTUEL 1x Hoymiles Grid Tie Micro Inverter - MI600 1x Efergy Tranmitter 1x Efergy Standard CT 2x 330W Canadian Solar Modules. Used for 2years -

Good Day, I have three 5kW Mecer/Axpert inverters in parallel. Two shows "SL" and one "HS" on the screen. What does the "HS" and "LS" mean? Thanks
  16. @GreenMan Mine didnt have any stickers except for the QC checked sticker. I eventually stripped open the transmitter to check the ic board.... Luckily there was a sticker on the chip.
  17. @GreenMan Found it thanks.....however my transmitter doesnt show a SID number. 😂😂🙈🙈
  18. @GreenMan Theres nou steps... You attached a datasheet. No manual showing steps. Or mabe Im confused🤣
  19. Hi Greenman, thanks for the manual but I'm not using the same meter as referred to in the manual. I'm using the wireless Efergy energy transmitter, I assume I have to bind this in some way to the dTU.
  20. I've managed to get the settings needed, however how do I "pair" the CT transmitter to the DTU? Anyone please, Thanks
  21. Good Day, I've installed a 600W Hoymiles microiverter system, with Efergy clamp on CT for backfeed blocking. I just cant get the thing to work..... Lastest software is installed, Anti-Reflux is enabled I've followed a post on the forum but it is vague and I can see the settings they are refering to (I did log in as installer), I understand MI State as shown below must be "ON" but how to switch it on? Any help please. Thanks
  22. @Coulomb My inverters don't have the earthing function. I had a debate with a lot of people on the issue of connecting earth to neutral for the AC out on the inverters. Everyone has there own meaning regarding it. I even spoke to a Electrician who said I have to connect all neutral to a common bus (which I don't agree with). When running on utility(Eskom) point of supply is the transformer neutral which is earthed. All faults will find it way back to the supply. According to my understanding, the inverter is the new source, thus the neutral and earth must be bridged. Attached is what I have in mind off how it should be connected to my main DB. Any comments please.. Inverter Lives wired to single pole MCB's, and a change-over switch (Solar and Bypass) Thanks
  23. So if I undetstand correct I dont need to use it. Switch it of if it has it. If it doesnt still bridge the neutral and earth on the AC out of the inverter. Split the neutral bars between the Main ac(eskom) and the inverter ac out. And take neutral and live between of each supply through the change over switch to the main house db?
