Problem: I have a Kodak OG7.2 off grid and 2 x old 5Kw inverters on standby. The two 5Kw inverters have no problem with my 12Kw 3 Phase diesel gen when connected to one phase. The Kodak does not work with my 12Kw on one phase. I also have a 5Kw silent diesel gen that does not work and even a 6Kw petrol gen. The kodak is full of 💩 when it comes to generator supply. I know the AVR's on the generators is the reason, but I am not going to buy a R100K generator just because the kodak throws its toys when I connect a gen.
Plan A: I am looking for a 48V charger to charge 6x pylon US3000C batteries from a old diesel generator(12KW 380V three phase). Any suggestions?
Plan B: Get a 48V MPPT charger with a high input voltage, eg 400Vdc. Half wave rectify 3 phases and smooth with Caps to get 311Vdc and feed into mppt charger as "'n diesel solar panel".
Plan C : ???
