  1. Sunsynk Sun-batt 5.32 on Solar Assistant

    Hi, I currently have a Sunsynk 12kw single phase inverter hooked up to solar assistant running on an orange pi using the RS485 connection and the cable splitter. The battery BMS is connected to the inverter with the CAN connection. Unfortunately the Inverter only sends forward minimal battery information. However, the batteries do have an RS232 connection port next to the CAN connection port. According to Solar Assistant (https://origin.solar-assistant.io/help/battery/sunsynk), you can connect both, however I have also been advised that the BMS software will not communicate on both ports. Has anyone else tried this, and is there any danger in trying? Many thanks
