Hi everyone. My father has a 48v solar system setup on the small farm, but it has been neglected by the previous owner (He had installed 3 banks of 48v 2v cells.) Apparently, the cells here and there started to deteriorate, because the solar system could not charge it completely full. My dad had a solar installer here, and he said that the cells must be reconditioned, but he told us he uses hydrogen peroxide to "shock" the cell, or something like that. My dad wants to know what percentage the guy used, because we are not sure if he is overcharging us. The guy told us between the 3 banks, the reconditioning should cost more or less R4k for the whole system. He charged us a exorbitant amount... Not yet paid, still need to confirm one or two things... (Quote says battery acid and hydrogen peroxide, but we know what percentage battery acid they used) So my question is, does somebody on the forum knows what the percentage is? My guess would be 35%+ ? Your response would be much appreciated. - 7x Voltronic Axpert 5kVa inverters for sale
