October 28, 20214 yr Hi guys I am new to Solar . Busy getting all myvstuff ready Need some advice is iti compulsory to use only double insulated wire from panels to invertor. I do have good quality dc cable .but the 2 wires are togerther in the same sleeve. Multi strand 6mm sq . Just afraid of magnetic field as a friend mentioned that it affects your invertor .
October 29, 20214 yr PV wire is rated for harsher environments, like being outside. It should also be UV resistant and have a flame retardant. In addition to that it is rated for higher voltages. So to answer the question - do the right thing.
