Water damaged Pylontech

Featured Replies

Hi guys, new here...my long story..I have a water damaged Pylontech US2000B battery, new one replaced by insurance.I replaced the Comms card which is the card that got wet but still not giving comms to the Inverter.Any idea where I could get diagnostics done on the battery to find out the problem.I thought of replacing the power card but gave it a miss.

Hi Barrels. Do you have communication with the BMS itself? To be honnest, I do not know, how Pylontech is build, but from outside it looked like using a Seplos BMS.

I use a Seplos with my own build battery pack 16x 200 AH prismatic cells. This BMS communicates with the Pylontech CAN protocoll with my Goodwe Hybrid Inverter GW3648D-ES and has a good software for real time view of the battery data as well as setting up the BMS.

May be the software could be of help for you, but as I sayed above...

Hi Nelis, the battery doesn't communicate with the inverter, even on it's own and not connected to the other batteries. It's definitely a batt problem.
