Posted December 9, 20213 yr Any advise will be greatly appreciated. Unable to connect the datalogger to the server. Any advise (step by step if needed) will be appreciated. Used both Iphone and Android phones to try and establish connection. I have managed to one occasion get the datalogger connected. The connection was active for maximum 45 minutes then lost and since then reestablishing a server connection remains unsuccessful. I have deleted the logger from the app and started again, connected the logger and edited the configuration etc. The logger connects to the router (basic 2.4ghz router), however the status remains lost. Have tried numerous different youtube instruction videos, troubleshooting guides etc. What is it that I am missing to get this connection active? Have connected via the Shinephone app (red light after reset, scan logger, connect wifi) with success on one occasion. Have not managed to successfully connect via the hotspot (i.p) method on a single occasion and unable to recreate the connection via the app (red light start). I registered the plant as South Africa and was required to enter a installer code. I did not have one but found a code that worked on the web. Any advise or assistance will be appreciated. The next step will be to connect pv keeper. If you have experience in creating this connection (can this be done via wifi) or alternative suggestions to pv keeper as a effective free monitoring app please will you share info. February 7, 20223 yr Register yourself as an installer and use that code as the installer code. I found this manual method reliable
