Battery Pylontech us3000c. Error code 61, no communication battery-inverter.

Hello,

I bought a battery Pylontech us3000c.h

I have a Mpp solar 5048mkx inverter.

On the inverter is one of setups dedicated for PYL batteries.

I made it but in operation appear an bad communication alert battery to inverter err 61.

The cable and switches are the same from operation manual.

What can I do for a good communication battery to inverter?

Oder of pins?

It's anyone who know this topic?

Thanks

I found and modified the bms cable according to the attached diagram.
Works OK now, even if warnings type 04 low battery randomly appear after it has reached 100% charge (?)

However, in my opinion, with just two pins I don't think that all the parameters can be transmitted for a complete battery management >>> inverter.

Does anyone have an opinion on this subject?

You can transmit loads of data over 2 pins / wires.

I agree that a lot of data can be transmitted over two wires, but I logically considered that it's a "shortcut" version, since the base version has 4 pins, which is 6 times more data.
But maybe 2 pins are enough ....

If I 'sniff' the data between my battery and inverter, 6 messages are sent about every 2 seconds, which takes milliseconds  so no need for any more wires as the current ones are not used to anywhere near full capacity.

Thank you very much for the clarifications. So 2+2 pins in the basic version are extra.
One question: why some warnings appear for a few seconds like "low battery" or "battery under shutdown" even if the battery is charged?

I see that the operating cycle is not disturbed.

Do you have an explanation?

Thanks.

The cable you are using doesn't look suitable for the US3000C battery to use CAN communication it looks as if its using RS485. Look at the battery manual and it will show you the pins to be used for CAN if the inverter supports CAN.

Also check the dip switches are correct according to the BATTERY manual not the inverter manual, as they are often for the older pylontech batteries.

Encontré y modifiqué el cable bms según el diagrama adjunto.
Funciona bien ahora, incluso si las advertencias tipo 04 de batería baja aparecen aleatoriamente después de que haya alcanzado el 100 % de carga (?)

Hi! Please, give me inverter version, U1 & U2, thanks

I had already made all the settings properly DIP switches and the supplied rs485 cable according to the Pylontech manual.
I modified the cable according to the diagram and it worked correctly except for the random errors err 04 as I mentioned.
Now, on the recommendation of an automation specialist, I connected the inverter to ground (which was not connected =43-101203-02G_BMS Cable pinout.pdf my mistake).
It works perfectly now.
Thanks for the guidance.
