June 13, 20224 yr Hi there. I'm based in the UK and don't know if I should be asking on here but I can't get any information or help here. I have 10 X JA 545 panels, 5kw Sunsynk hybrid inverter and 5.12kw Sunsynk battery. It's set up to charge the battery from solar and use the battery when there isn't enough solar generation. I have noticed that every morning when the solar kicks in and starts to charge the battery, the grid import also gets higher. I know it has to have the 20w trickle in, which is annoying but I understand. But the grid import goes up to 200w for the length of the battery charge, it can be 1 hour or 4 hours depending on solar generation. When the battery is fully charged the grid then turns to export. Does anybody know why this happens? Many thanks
