July 23, 20223 yr Hello.. Something strange is happening with my Deye 5kw inverter. Eskom is present so not in UPS mode, I don't have panels. If I exceed the Amps on my essential circuit the battery starts feeding the load? Is this normal? My understanding if there is Eskom I can exceed the inverter capacity because the load is fed from Eskom and not battery so the capacity of the inverter does not matter? Please advise?
July 31, 20223 yr It will passthrough but to a certain limit before the inverter trips, i think the limit is 7/8kw on the essentials The setting with the battery might have to do with how you setup your workmode screens, please share those so we can see?
