  1. Tshwane are the worst - they haven't even responded to the leak issue when i discovered there was a leak
  2. Had a leak a few weeks ago - got a guy out to do the detection - he used gas and was able to pinpoint the leak quite accurately. Insurance then sent their own guys who corroborated the findings and repair work started a day later. They dug, replaced the pipe and reinstated any damage they had done to the area. I only had to pay excess of 1k - this is with Naked Insurance
  3. Per mppt. Your mix should work
  4. The standard Solarman dongle should be fine. as long as the network is on has internet access (and its streaming info to the Deye / Solarman cloud) that should be al the techs need
  5. Have you seen the automation functionality?
  6. EL might be faulty - had this issue and replaced the El and its been fine since
  7. Shuuu... just from reading I can tell there are a number of things wrong There definitely should have a fuse / breaker between the batteries and inverter Sunsynk / Deye doesn't have an automatic internal N-E bond like other inverters - the manual suggests using a contactor to do this Could you also share pics off the install itself as well as the inverter battery settings screen - its possible that only 1 battery is being seen by the inverter
  8. Definitely not normal but more information is needed: 1. Which inverter(s) and how are they wired to each other and to the batteries 2. Which batteries and how they wired to each other 3. What are the main settings of the inverter in terms of its energy profile (use batteries to what % and /or voltage at what times etc)
  9. Looks like the latest beta track has support for Fivestar 5kw inverters
  10. Damn that's an awesome price for those - GLWS - I'll ping you at the end of the month if they are still available
  11. Hey @Krinesh did you end up selling this?
  12. Good point - I wonder if some installers even realise the need to do this.
  13. Its something you would have done when installing the new battery - generally once installed you would ensure they top-balance for a couple of hours to make sure they balance
  14. Just checking that when you replaced it you ensured the batteries balanced properly?
  15. I recently discovered a setting to autoconnect to Tailscale when im not on my home WIFI and its worked flawlessly. Its great coz i use my nodes as exit nodes and benefit from the on-LAN pihole adblocking
  16. Can also look into something like Tailscale, run a node on your LAN and that acts as the entry into your network from outside. No need to forward any ports etc
  17. the Jasa App is just a skinned version of the Tuya App so once you remove the aircons from the Jasa App you open the Tuya app then follow the same pairing method - the aircons will show up in Tuya / Smart Life
