  1. Why not just charge the batteries with the 2kw and let the inverter decide the distribution. Install Tuya devices for your geyser etc
  2. Hi, anybody used a Sunsynk Klik to connect two different brands of batteries
  3. FransSmith posted a topic in Batteries
Hi Anybody successfully used the Sunsynk Klik with two total different battery brands and sizes Sunsynk-Klik-Manual-_Brochure (1).pdf
  4.    Teltech reacted to a post in a topic: Sunsynk vs Victron
  5. Thank you kindly for the response. I changed my 8kw to a 10kw with 3 x MPPT and installed a string of 7 x 610w East so I have a overdesigned system, but I will benefit greatly in the winter months
  6. I have 9 x 550w panels North with 9 x 550w panels West. I installed a 3rd string on my no 3 Mppt, 7 x 610w panels East What find strange is that all three strings produce the same amount of electricity at 07H30 in the morning. I would have expected my East panels to outperform my West panels Any reasonable explanation for it
  7. I have a 8kw Sunsynk, with 18 550watt panels and 3 x Bsl batt Powerline 5 batteries. I have noticed every now and then, when Eskom has a failure, my inverter trips in the inverter DB box Why would that be
  8. I have a 8kw Sunsynk 10kw inverter with 18 550w north and west with 3 x Bslbatt 5 kw batteries My neighbour around the corner installed 2 x 5kw Victron inverters with 16 panels and 4 x Freedom Won batteries. At the same time during the day, his solar panels deliver 5 to 6 kw whereby mine only hover at 3 to 3.5kw I have posted about this before but never actually got an answer. Must I just accept that Victron setup is better than Sunsynk???
  9. Victron is good but way to expensive.
  10. I have noticed that Solar Assistant considerably underreads my Grid used in the past eight months Sunsynk app shows 1033 units used in the past eight months Mogale meter shows 1008 units used in the past eight months Solar assist shows 746 units used in the past eight months that equates to a 38% under reading Solar Assistant website "Contact us" doesn't work so I am not sure how to fix this error
  11. I had a brainwave. I need your opinion. I have 18 x 550watt solar panels installed on my roof. 9 north and 9 west. My 8kw Sunsynk only have 2 mppt's. So I cannot add a third string on the east side of my house. But what if I install 6 x 620 watt panels on the east side, connect it to some sort of device that only allows one side to be used at a time. So let's say from 06H00 to 10H00 the device or switch cuts off the west side completely and only draw from the east side and then after 10h00 isolate the east side completely and only draws from the west side until 17H00. The device must switch over automatically with say a 1 minute delay before the west start giving electricity to the mppt. Can something like this work
  12. My apologies, my neighbour installed it and I am asking on his behalf. I think the brand is Ecco. But his electricity bill went sky high. I told him about my Sunsynk and the Ct clamp preventing feeding back. I told him I will try and find out on this forum because I am not 100% sure as well
