i have growatt spf 5000 es that has been running well for almost a year. Suddenly it has gone into a fault state 02 error.

 

does anyone know what causes this error and how I can resolve the issue?

Error 2 = over temperature, just make sure the inverter fans are working, they are actually very noisy. 

You can feel the air flow if you put your hand on the top side of the inverter.

I will make sure there is no load connected to rule out over temp and make sure battery is charged. This will ensure a low temp for the components so it should not give a code 02 alarm.

I have the same problem, fan are working well, charging well, discharging is ok..while searching I came to this chat box?!

I tried to turn it off for 12 consecutive houres to make sure that there is no heat problem, then I turned it on, but still showing the 02 error alert.

i am sure it need another type of reset, but can some one tell us how?
