Hi all

How long can my Growatt Inverter run with no load..and remain connected to UTILITY power (inverter input)

With correct settings all the time. Is there a reason why it is not connected to a load even while we have LS. Batteries need to be discharged from time to time.

Hi scorp 007

Sorry  forgot to mention that I have an automatic change over switch.

My Inverter have a permanent supply from Utility DB.

The auto c/o switch will always be on utility power and only during load shedding it will change over to inverter power. My only concern is that the Inverter will idle most of the time...Batteries will always charge and eventually go into a floating mode

In that case it is fine that the batteries are discharged only during LS. If ever we don't have LS for weeks switch the c/o to the inverter once a week for about 30min and back to the grid.
