January 25, 20233 yr About a month ago I got a 48v Meanwell TN3000 and 4x 100ah 12v lead acid batteries. It has lasted through loadshedding with no issues. I do have some oddities that I noticed. When it is on bypass 2 of the 4 battery indicator lights are lit up not all 4. When the power goes out all 4 are lit up. I also noticed every on average 1 minute and 30 seconds it turns on the fans and charges for about 3 seconds before it turns off. It does this constantly every minute is this behavior okay? I have checked the terminals and I do have a multimeter to test if needed but I would appreciate if someone that knows a bit more than I do can perhaps tell me if I am worried for nothing?

After the strange flickering of lights switch of the Meanwell. Disconnect the positive lead. Leave for 45min. Then use the multimeter and measure each battery voltage and post your findings.
January 25, 20233 yr Author there is no flickering of lights at all. its the indicator lights on the back that always stay where 50% would be. I tested each battery it was doing that when the batteries were new as well.

January 25, 20233 yr Author okay I will test it tonight when i disconnect the postive lead should I also be disconnecting all the batteries?
