How to connect Series-Parallel to a battery equilizer/balancer

Hi all,

I've recently connected 4 20ah lithium ion batteries in series-parallel combination. As per this forum, I was recommended to purchase a battery equalizer/balancer. I however am not too sure on how to connect it since the battery connection is a bit more complex than just standard series or parallel. Could anyone kindly assist.

    You connect it as if you only have 2 batteries as 2x2 are in parallel for the battery balancer.
