If your existing firmware is version 56.xx where xx is < 04, then I found this firmware update file, I think on a Segen / Kodak site:

Thanks.
So I guess I'll have a problem.
The previous user uploaded the firmware for 5KW/48.
The firmware is version 71.97, He wrote that the previous one was about 56.xx
Can I not downgrade?
For example, direct access using other interfaces and software?

71.97 sounds like a non-rack-mounted King 5kW. So it's expecting an external, removable display.

* My understanding is that the rack mounted Kings only have the small, internal, non-removable display. Is that correct?

* Does the inverter work at all now?

* Does the display work?

* Do you have to be careful not to overload it?

You should be able to load 56.xx over the top of whatever is there. I'm surprised it let the previous owner update to the totally wrong  firmware.

Inverter and display are working correctly but overload monitoring does not work and the load percentage shows for 5KW .

I have to be careful not to overload it because the internal fuse would then have to be replaced.

I will try to update the inverter during the week.
