February 17, 20233 yr Hi all What is the rule or general idea of how much space should be between rows of panels that are mounted on 30degree brackets? They will be ground mounted or flat roof, hence the angled mounting brackets.

The second point to consider is access and maintenance. You will need at least a 600mm wide walk way between rows of panel to simplify installation and maintenance.

In order to minimise the problem of the panels shading each other in winter you should use landscape mounting with at least 1.5m gaps. 8 minutes ago, Kilowatt Power said: None that I know of but for portrait installations Nairobi is very close to the equator, so shading is not an issue. In South Africa it is.

Example of 3 rows of 14 modules installed on a roof with a purlin spacing of 1400mm. A 500mm wide walk way is provided for access and maintenance.
