Growatt SPF 5000 Es:- Setting 28 (Address Setting)

Featured Replies

Address Setting (menu item #28) is always skipped, at least in advice I have seen on line, as irrelevant.
The manual only states: “(Default 1, 1~255 Settable)”

I Ask because I noticed that the slave inverter works more(fan's) than the host. Is this normal?

Both are set to Nr 1 at setting 28

Is this the address setting for the number of Parallel inverters?

Assistance would be appreciated.

Kassie

My System

2 x  Growatt SPF 5000 ES inverters(Parallel) Single Phase 230v

4 x Pylontech US3000C bateries(Parallel) 48v

16 x 425 Canadian Solar Panels(two strings of 8 each)

@LeopardJunkie I also have two in parallel, I have setting 28 on 1, What I have experienced is that the inverter you switch on first becomes the master, unlike you what I see on my side is that when the system is idling the master does most of the work.

@zsde

See attached dashboard, inverter 1 is the master.

@LeopardJunkie  On the growatt display panel If you push the arrow down key till you see the KWh, you will be able to see how much it's inverter is supplying and take a reading every day and you shall see which one is producing more power.
