May 6, 20233 yr Hi Everyone, We have an installation with 2 x 50kW Sunsynk inverters in Parallel. This installation had an existing 200kVA generator on site, with the auto changeover built into the generator with a controller doing the sensing on phases coming in grom Eskom. So the inverters were installed down stream from the generator, so that the generator supply the inverters, but also can supply the building directly should the inverters fail. My question is: With the generator connected to the grid connection of the inverter, would the Generator signal port stil work when the programmed SOC of the batteries are reached? And will it cut that Gen signal port when it receive power on the grid port again?
