May 27, 20233 yr Hi, I currently have a Synapse V3.0+, 24V inverter installed and want to replace my 2x S100 Hubble batteries, (only internal BMS). I can get my hands on a Pylontech UP2500 battery, but was wondering how the BMS interface would work with the inverter? What battery type setting do i select on the Synapse inverter? Do i set to USE and then the battery BMS controls te rest, charge voltage ranges, etc? Further to this, i also have a spare MUST pv1800 vpm inverter available and can replace the Synapse? Will this be a better solution to communicate with the Pylontech BMS? My current Synapse inverter is connected to a Raspberry Pi via CAN - USB for monitoring via SolarAssistant. This communication protocol is also not great as it requires continues rebooting of the system to re-establish the connection. Your thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.
