Solstices (solsticii ?)

Featured Replies

Whatever the plural is, they make a difference

Today is winter solstice for those of us who live South of the Equator. A nice bright day in Johannesburg. I pulled 2.7 kW at about 11:20. (Half my panels face east, so I get peak power a little before noon).

Looking back on the Goodwe portal I can't find good data for last summer solstice, but two days later (Dec 23), I was pulling just over 3 kW at 9:20.

That's the difference between summer and winter.
