Hi,

 

i recently had a sunsynk 8kw system installed :

Sunsynk 8 kw inverter 

2x 5.12kw dyness batteries 

9x365w panels

 

i had issues with voltages on the load port when Eskom was down.

live and neutral - 230 V

live and earth - 40 - 70 V

neutral and earth - 40 - 70 V

 the voltages when eskom is connected to the inverter on the load port .

live and neutral - 230 V

live and earth - 230 V

neutral and earth - 0 V

when eskom connects to the inverter the E/L after the inverter does not stay up. this happens even when all breakers are down.

 @Leshen assisted me with identifying there is no earth neutral bond and maybe the MCB has a fault. He also provided me with advice on how to connect the earth neutral bond with a contactor.
