A particular question about Axpert VM III and the "premature float bug".

Featured Replies

Hi!

I have an inverter Voltronic VMIII 5Kw, 48V, constructed on november 2020, and on an off-grid installation

From the post fron Coulomb "What Axpert firmware is that?" on Thu, 02 Mar 2023, 19:34
(thanks Coulomb for that!!), where talking about the main processor on this inverters he said: "'28062 refers to the TMS320F28062 DSP chip, which has half the flash size of the above two, and is used mostly inAxpert VM models.", I learned that my voltronic VMII has this chip on it.
For that processor, the firmware for the main board U1 is of the serie 41.xx  (Axpert VM III older 5 kW '28062.
And the U2 firmware (for the remobable pannel display ) is of the serie 02.xx .

My inverter came whit U1= 41.16, and U2 =2.61, and the famous Premature Float bug, plus the fact tha fans never stoped and where allways running at full speed.
Two days ago I updated to U1=41.17 and U2=2.66 and at least the fans problem is solved now!!, But the Premature float bug is still present.

Now, my questions:

-Is there any patched version of U1 firmware for this model and procesor of VMIII that solve the premature float bug? and, if not...
-...I've got the firmware files 47.00 for U1 and 102.73 for U2.from the web. Do anybody know if those are compatible with my inverter ?
-and if so, do anybody know if the 47.00 solve the premature float bug??

Thanks in advance for any comment, advice or  assistance on this!!
