Solar output after loadshedding drops

Featured Replies

Morning,

I have 25kw of panels. Before loadshedding I am producing about 17kw. Loadshedding starts and produces enough to supply load. After loadshedding the out put drops to 600w and I have to switch pv off and on to get solar back to full.

Any ideas why?

I can't say I'm familiar with commercial hybrid inverters but I'm sure basics should be the same. What inverter and battery combination are you using? There must be a back to battery setting and a back to grid setting.

It is 3 x 10kw deye inverters. Solar supplies load first. Any extra charges the battery. The problem is not the settings it works perfectly every day. This has happend 3 times and only when there is high solar power then grid goes off and when grid is back solar drops and does not supply load till I restart the mppt
