Best 5kw system

Featured Replies

Good day

I want to get myself a solar kit, problem is my budget is very tight, R65k. Which 5kw inverter and battery would best soot my need. I want to save on my electricity bill as well meaning my excess power must go to my non-essentials. Will add panels as well. just need the best 5kw system for my budget.

I looked at the lux power SNA5000 inverter but apparently it cannot push excess back to non essentials. Can anyone give me a bit of advise please?

What loads do you want to be connected to the non essential.

My line of thinking is a SNA with panels without battery but with panels feeding non essential.

A 2nd SNA with panels and battery for essentials.

5kwh Must battery R17th

2 x SNA R22th

This gives you 4 strings of panels for the 4 x MPPTs. Minimum of 3 panels per string  and maximum about 7x4x455W. This gives from 6-28 panels.

Depending on panels it could get you within your budget.
