Changeover DB pilot light

Featured Replies

Hi, busy with backup power in outbuilding and not sure where to tap the L and N from to the pilot lights. See pic, I'm thinking to take it from the bottom of the changeover switch?

Connect red on the to inverter MCB. This will at all times show if grid is on.

Green to inverter out MCB. This way it will show the status of both supplies.

Ok, just to make sure I understand you, green pilot for the inverter out, if MCB off light off. Now the red, must it indicate mains to inverter or must it indicate ESKOM mains (top or bottom of MCB)?

I a not sure if only 1 light must be on. If you wire the red on the input to inverter bottom of MCB then it can only be on if the mains is on as this is the Mains input to the inverter.
