December 16, 20232 yr Solar panel istallation, I have a mecer 11kva with 2 pylon up 5000 and have 10 550 panels, it only uses government (Eskom power)
December 16, 20232 yr Do you have two strings of 5 panels, or 1 string of 10 panels? Can you measure the voltage at the PV input during the day with a multimeter? Be careful, it's high voltage, even with the panels disconnected if the inverter is running. Or safer and easier, what voltage does the inverter report for PV1 and PV2? Or do neither PV inputs show on the display? It would help to know the brand and model of panels, or at least their Voc specification. It may be that the panel voltage is too high or too low.
