January 17, 20242 yr I have to add this on here guys, as I hope it can assist someone out there that might prevent such an occurrence happening again. I was contacted by a client that had this in use for AC switchgear & protection. I was advised that 10A fuses kept blowing & then 20A fuses also kept blowing. Let's bear in mind, that this was before I could get to the site. My next question was that a Deye 5kW inverter cannot draw more than 13A on its 2 MPPTs. So how many panels do you have & what configuration?? She advised she had no panels at all. Just a backup system with Lithium battery & Inverter. Other deficiencies was no Changeover switch. So one can imagine how frustrating this must have been when DC rated Fuses kept blowing on an AC circuit. One for the records guys, please don't use DC switchgear for AC circuits. Also once again, the installer did not want to come back to assist or rectify. He also promised a CoC & well that just never materialized.
