July 31, 20242 yr Hi there was a recent water outage near my house and has now been resotred but the temperature of my geyserwise max is 136° and won't cool down. (The geyser was turned off when the water was down) Any advice on how to cool it down would be greatly appreciated
August 1, 20242 yr Turn off the power for the geyserwise and heating element. Open a hot water tap and drain it? @ 136 degrees you should be getting steam? The Cold incoming water will cool it down? Unless the geyserwise temperature sensor has been damaged or gone faulty. Also your safety temperature and pressure value, on the geyser, should have opened automatically @ 90-100 degrees and released the extremely hot water out the overflow and allowed cool water to refill the geyser? and the geyserwise also has the ability to turn off the element if the geyser runs dry, called run dry protection, which should turn off the element after it determines the water temp is not rising by x number of degrees per hour? and if over 65 degrees normally the geyserwise will stop supplying power to heat the water?
December 20, 20241 yr Hi How was your issue resolved? I have a similar issue - roof reservoir temp is over 120 degrees and it's not circulating with the geyser. Also getting an E9 error on the screen. No recent water cuts though
