Low profile thermostat for geyserwise ptc element install

Featured Replies

Does anyone have advice on low profile thermostat options for geyserwise ptc element installs that don't have the full geyserwise setup?

I currently have a kwikot geyser and I've installed the ptc element, geyserwise flange and thermostat tube.

The thermostat i have is the standard kwikot one that plugs into the standard spiral element, so there are terminals that are basically in the way of a flush fit into the thermostat tube.

The main issue is I can't close the geysers plastic protective cover over the element and thermostat, so they are a bit exposed to the elements at the moment because my geyser is mounted outside.

First prize is to get a thermostat that fits better.

Alternatively, I'll have to make a custom cover to fit better.

Geyserwise specify that you use the satchwell vfk11 in this use case (get the proper satchwell brand).

We have quite a few like this.

Geyserwise email and phone technical support is top notch if you need assistance.

Thanks, I will look for this one.

Also note the position of your thermostat tube, it MUST be at 10am or 2pm (relative to the element) to function correctly.

I have it at 10am. Think that's the only way the flange would fit in my geyser to be honest.
