  1. Did you go through with this? Did the devices work together?

  3. Did you ever come right with this? How have the inverters performed for you?
  4. Sorry to hear. Did you try contact payfast about them? Have you checked what is actually at the address?

  6. The same question was asked on facebook yesterday. I only have a link for the group but look for the post: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1224829628388092 Basically the consensus I took away is: Great product - Failure rate seems high but only because of the volume they have sold and because of the slow support/repairs when there is a failure which results in more people being vocal which is fair
  7. Thanks, I will look for this one. I have it at 10am. Think that's the only way the flange would fit in my geyser to be honest.
  8. Does anyone have advice on low profile thermostat options for geyserwise ptc element installs that don't have the full geyserwise setup? I currently have a kwikot geyser and I've installed the ptc element, geyserwise flange and thermostat tube. The thermostat i have is the standard kwikot one that plugs into the standard spiral element, so there are terminals that are basically in the way of a flush fit into the thermostat tube. The main issue is I can't close the geysers plastic protective cover over the element and thermostat, so they are a bit exposed to the elements at the moment because my geyser is mounted outside. First prize is to get a thermostat that fits better. Alternatively, I'll have to make a custom cover to fit better.

  10. The reset button is used to turn it on or off, hold it down for 3 seconds. You can download the manual from this very forum:
  11. The 5kw load is just for dc to ac inverting. When you have access to the grid, your inverter can pass through a certain amount of ac current(Think its 35a) over and above the 5kw supplied/inverted from your solar/battery. When the grid isn't available, then you are limited to the 5kw from solar/batteries. My understanding was that there is overload protection so the inverter should protect itself when overloaded, but I havent tested so hopefully someone else can advise for that.
  12. Just taking a shot in the dark here: Any chance you are using a mikrotik router? https://cbi-lowvoltage.co.za/content/how-pair-astute-smart-device-mikrotik-router Im just wondering if maybe when you reset it that it cant connect to the network.
