Solar Batteries in Parallel with Synsynk 5kw

Featured Replies

I want to add another exact same 5kw Battery to my existing 5kw Battery and connect it as per the image.

(Negative from Slave to Negative on Master)

(Positive from Slave to Positive on Master)

i have seen a quite a few different setups, for configuring Parallel setups with battery's

would this be correct way for a cable (2 AWG) setup as my system is wall mounted?

the Image is from Sunsynk's manual is probably based on a busbar setup

I would put one connection cable from the fuses to the top battery (e.g. positive) and the other one to the bottom battery. The connectors between batteries.

Like this, all cables should be the same length and as short as the installation allows. Fuses and cable current carrying  capacity to the updated to allow for the revised charge and discharge current of the revised battery bank.

Go for a busbar if you are able to avoid daisy chain as per the picture

ok, so i just move my Negative from my master to my 2nd battery, while keeping the 2nd battery negative connected to the master.

working with 2 AWG less than 1.3meter cables
