March 12, 20251 yr Hi all, I have a couple of questions regarding the above. I watched a couple of videos from Keith (Sunsynk), where he stated that when the inverters are connected in parallel ( both in single phase/ 3 phase setups) the grid input and load output has to make connections at the same time ie one mcb for all inverters for AC in, one mcb for all for load output. But what I don't understand is that according to the installation manual, only in 3 phase is this required. In the diagram for single phase, the inverters each have their own mcbs...... What is the correct method? Thanks
March 12, 20251 yr In 3-phase mode, inverters must sync perfectly across phases, so simultaneous disconnection via common MCBS is required. So common input and output breakers in 3ph mode is a must.In single-phase mode, each inverter is handling the same phase, so independent connections are generally acceptable.
