Battery and invertor communication

Featured Replies

I have an off grid system, uses a fivestar 3KVa hybrid inverter and an svolt 106Ah 25.6v battery (without a comms port). The system is powered by 4 PV modules of 300W (two connected in series) . There’s a problem with the battery and inverter not being able to communicate as the battery is not able to fully charge and the charging parameters needs to be set manually. Anyways please assist what might be the issue

Communication between battery and inverter is not imperative. My own home setup has been running 24/7 for almost 5 years without communication.

I would recommend the following settings:

Boost/Charge: 28V

Float: 26.6V

I would however recommend more panels.
