April 11, 20251 yr I have an off grid system, uses a fivestar 3KVa hybrid inverter and an svolt 106Ah 25.6v battery (without a comms port). The system is powered by 4 PV modules of 300W (two connected in series) . There’s a problem with the battery and inverter not being able to communicate as the battery is not able to fully charge and the charging parameters needs to be set manually. Anyways please assist what might be the issue

I would recommend the following settings: Boost/Charge: 28VFloat: 26.6VI would however recommend more panels.
April 14, 20251 yr Author thanks, how many additional panels?changed the parameters as follows and there’s an improvement:bulk charge: 29.2vFloat charge: 29vIs the voltage too much?
