Can 9 panels be connected to this deye inverter without problems?

Hello brothers.

I am in the process of installing a solar energy system.

The inverter is from Deye SUN-8K-SG05LP1-EU-SM2

And solar panels TSM-NEG21C.20 from Trina solar.

the technical specifications below.

The thing I want to make sure of:

I have 9 solar panels.

Can they be connected the all 9 panels in one series without any problems and risk of damaging the inverter? Or should I install just 8 panels and drop one of the group?

Knowing that the area is on the sea and the temperature in winter does not drop to more than 15 or 10 degrees Celsius

Thanks alot.

You can connect 9 panels in series. 15 degrees below STC you will still be below 500V. However, you are running above the MPPT range. Why not do 4 panels and 5 panels on the two MPPTs?

Hi Taleb 9 panels connected 9S on 1 mppt will be in the sweet spot. So no problem 9 x 710w = 6390w you are allowed 6400w/mppt. In any case you will most probably only achieve ~5kwp in real life conditions.

Sorry, the MPPT range is fine. Only split in two strings if shading is a risk.
