Reconditioned Automotive Batteries

Featured Replies

Has anyone used this company?

Auto - Recondition 668 Battery 12V 80 Ah with OLD Battery. Plus R150 without OLD Battery.

I need a battery for a vehicle that is not in everyday use, so don't want to spend a fortune. Was wondering if this is too good to be true. I am in Knysna and they will courier for R220 including return of the old battery. I don't want to transfer the cash only to find out it's a scam. Also, they say a 6 month warranty, but am concerned that it might pack up in 6 months and 1 day. Even if it packs up during warranty, courier costs make it unpractical. Any thoughts?

Just buy new. There is plenty for 400 rand more new. This is from solar warehouse.

Why waste money on something that might die in less than a year again?

I also bought a motorycle battery for my Kawasaki Versys 1000 from them for 450 rand when every other motorcycle shop was selling them for 1500 plus. No issues for a year now.

Hi Denns, thanks for the reply. Are you saying that you bought a reconditioned one from Battery Fix, or a new one from Solar Warehouse? Cheapest new 668 I can find in Knysna is R2.1K
