May 8, 20197 yr I know there is an item in the set-up to set this to zero but does it work 100%? There have been a few posts reporting hassles with this. It is particularly crucial for those of us who have modern pay as you go meters. I am not sure if Victron has a separate CT clamp or this is built into the inverter? I have just come across another inverter brand where their separate CT clamp is not stopping power going to the grid - and again upsetting meters which then go into negative territory .

Have the CG for I'm not using AC-out2 at all. And I do see the Victorn feeding back when loads are all over especially with stuff like induction plates and Microwave. Ran mine on 10w - did not cause too much feedback that I am aware of.

If you never ever want a single watt-second to slip back into the grid... then no... it doesn't work 100%. Some power slips back. This is the case for ALL grid-tied inverters. The one that tracks the fastest (to my knowledge) is the Fronius with its own smart meter. The Multiplus will trip the more sensitive prepaid meters. It trips a Conlog that has this feature, almost guaranteed. The Goodwe trips it too. The Infinisolar trips it too.
May 9, 20197 yr I am using the Multiplus-II/Multigrid-II with the Grid control set to an average 20W import. I have not had any issues with my 3-Phase Pre-paid meter (Landis & Gyr CUI3). The Meter manual states "A significant reverse power condition will be flagged when there has been a continuous reverse power measurement equivalent to 50Wh."

The Conlog BEC44 is VERY sensitive, I think something like 20W average over 15 seconds, or literally 300 joules (watt-seconds).

It also appears that the 3-phase Landis & Gyr meters have the option to flag/trip on reverse power disabled by default. This is due to the possible back-feed if one uses a 3-phase motor.
