May 20, 20197 yr Hi: This is Francesc, writting you from Barcelona. I have a MPP 5.5K solar inverter in my installation which works pretty well so far. The current RS232 document doesn't explain how to change charger source priority and the only way to change I've found so far is through software or enter manually with buttons (menu 02). So basically, I would like to change automatically charger source priority when battery SOC goes down (I have a raspberry and a program that reads data from the hybrid). Does anybody know the way to do it using RS232? The commands from other models doesn't seem to work. Thanks in advance, Francesc.

May 20, 20197 yr Author Thanks for the hint, which made me remember that the SolarPower software had a DEBUG mode. 😅 When I've changed the source priority between (none, PV only, PV & Grid) 3 log files have been created. I think that the following commands should change the charger source priority: ENFB0 - PV and Grid ENFA0 - None ENFA1- FV Only I've tested in a bot that sends commands to the inverter.........and the response so far doesn't seem bad. Today I've run out of time to test whether these commands have had any impact on the inverter.......I will continue investigating it Thoughts on these commands? Are these known commands? Regards, Francesc. Edited May 20, 20197 yr by iridium
May 22, 20197 yr Author Hi, just to add that this commands work for the MPP Solar 5.5 Kw model. While testing, I've found additional commands that seem not to be documented. These commands need to be "refreshed" with the QCHGS command........otherwise it will not be reflected if we surf across the hybrid menu. Regards, Francesc.
