June 25, 20197 yr I have 1 x Pylontech US 3000 and one GoodWe 5048-ES. I cannot discharge more than 37A but less than 74A for more than 3 seconds. Pylontech datasheet says 74A is max continuous. Why is the pylontech not allowing the discharge of up to 74A cont? Thank you

What i am wondering, does the battery shut down, or does the Inverter start taking load from the grid. Goodwe will have their own way of protecting the Pylontech's and i am not sure witch one of the 2 is preventing you form drawing more. The Manuel also states Peak Current is 100A @ 15 sec, that again makes me think the 3 second might come from the Inverter protection setup and not from the Pylontech BMS. 5 hours ago, Mr2cmE said: Why is the pylontech not allowing the discharge of up to 74A cont? If it is indeed them, i would guess its for protection of their equipment.
