Regulated maintenance for Grid tie installations

Regulation 8.2.1 states maintenance requirements for grid tie.

There is daily, weekly, 3-6 monthly and more inspections / maintenance that need to be done by the customer and installer. I would assume the user of such a system will need documented proof of such maintenance and that it actually comply with the regulation. Am I reading this correct?
