June 8, 20205 yr I have the following question regarding the Goodwe SEMS portal before I buy an inverter. At the installation site the internet connection is regulary temporaly off for a few hours or days. Does the inverter store the generation information locally and afterwards sends it to SEMS, that there are no data gaps in the historic data? for how many hourse? thanks rh
July 26, 20205 yr Had our internet go down for a few hours once, and data obviously wasn't logging. Internet back, and a few hours later the data was uploaded, so yes it does seem to store and send later - a few hours worth at least. But better someone really in the know answers this in more detail...
August 8, 20214 yr Hello, I am really getting crazy with this problem. I never meet or used such weak monitoring system/app If inverter hasn't internet connection for some hours, it stores the data, just for 24/48 hours. If internet is not available for longer time, data are lost except last 24 48 hours. It seems that inverter hasn t memory for data.storage I have a goodwe xs 2000 inverter. I gave it internet connection by my phone. When i go to work i am away for a week. When i get back home and internet is again available to the inverter, it upload to the sems portal datas about the last 2 days. Previous days are absolutely lost so the sems portal without the complete datas show fake infos about monthly or weekly production. Absolutely sick. In my opinion inverter should be able to keep production datas for at least 1 month. It is really disappointing this problem. I am really disappointed of my choice to buy goodwe inverter. If some one know how to check if the inverter has all the data in its own storage or if someone knows how to force the inverter to upload oldest or previous data ( but it seems that inverter has not enough memory storage to keep datas for over 2 days) to sems portal, advices are welcome and will be very appreciated Gerlando Gerardo Edited August 8, 20214 yr by robix73 some typing error
