SollyPowers Posted September 3, 2020 Author Posted September 3, 2020 The First Inverter has two pv strings the pool to run from 9 untill 11. The Stove is to be used between 11:15 and 2:15 the only load from the second inverter is 200W The Second inverter also has two strings and runs the rest of the house just fine. No extrapower needed from the first inverter. The Evening load is never more than 1.3Kw will come from the 1st inverters batteries neither of the inverters will feed back into the grid . I am thinking about earth being common in the DBs that could cause a problem Quote
Cyon Posted September 3, 2020 Posted September 3, 2020 Ok. Just make sure the settings is correct otherwise you will blow your first inverter. You don’t want you second to feed back to the first inverter. Let’s see what the Professionals have to say. This is risky to connect a inverter onto a inverter. Quote
SollyPowers Posted September 8, 2020 Author Posted September 8, 2020 I guess with no comment from the experts this makes you the expert thank you Barry your replies are appreciated Quote
SollyPowers Posted January 30, 2021 Author Posted January 30, 2021 After many months of getting the manufactures to understand the question the answers is yes the second inverter needs to be set to offgird. ( Which is actually Grid Tie with Backup and no feedback to the Grid ) Quote
