Hi, Everyone. I am also new in solar energy. I have recently installed solar power kit in my house ( Growatt off Grid inverter SPF 5000TL HVM-WPV, with Dyness B3 Lithium battery). My problem is the communication problem between inverter and battery. Each time I switch on the battery the inverter shuts down power from grid and PV. I get error "20". I have connected the battery communication   via RS 485 port of the inverter. The Dip switch is set at #2 and #3 On. Please help.

I had the same issue with the exact same setup. Contact the people you got the inverter from and ask for a replacement comms cable.I know I had a orange cable supplied which didn't work. After installing the replacement cable and switching the inverter to Li mode everything was working fine.

Hi, Ianvn. Thinks very much for your advice. Did you replace your comms cable with the same orange one or did you get a different one because the one I have is also orange.

The one they supplied me with is a black one and have markings on to say which side is inverter and which side is battery. They might come in different colors though.
