Four SA municipalities are reducing emissions

That's what it says here: https://mg.co.za/environment/2020-11-30-south-africas-cities-opt-for-clean-energy/

"Metros, says the report, are centres for innovation and can be frontrunners, as illustrated by the four metros that have shown a decrease in emissions intensity — Johannesburg, Tshwane, Cape Town and eThekwini — and which have indicated the ambition to reach net zero carbon by 2050."

I note the comments about the need for reliable, safe public transport. Before the pandemic (this is now starting to sound like "before the rinderpest") I used Gautrain. Bus from Randburg to Sandton, train from Sandton to Centurion, and decent public transport gets my vote.
