cvzyl
We want to install a closed combustion fireplace and would like to get some recommendations. There is quite a wide range of manufacturers and prices. We would need something on the higher output end, 11-13kW, as it is quite a large area. The Dovre, Godin, Invicta, etc. all range from R25k up to R40k and above. That excludes the flue and installation. That is quite steep. Additionally, I've now been waiting more than 2 months for three different dealers to come have a look and give me a quotation. You'd hardly say that business is tough in SA. So, basically this project is too late for this winter and I've decided to explore more options and have it installed before the next winter. Anybody on here with recommendations for specific products and dealers/installers. I'm in the Western Cape (West Coast). I've also found a place called Euro Fireplaces, they're in Blouberg. They are apparently importing closed combustion fireplaces from the "European Union". Prices are a lot more palatable, ranging from R4k for small units up to R9k for their biggest unit. Does anyone have experience with their products? C
