What I have learnt about starting or trying something new ... getting the terminology right first ... it makes it lot easier to understand posts/blogs/threads etc.

For example ... when you want to find out about solar or what many refer to as PV installations ... what is a string ... a combiner etc ... it also helps when you ask questions.

Trying to read through hundreds of posts to scratch for info related to a specific topic when you dont understand some of the termonology makes it a time consuming exercise.

It would be great if someone in the know could post and lock a definitions thread ... briefly description for PV ... inverters and batteries.
